Whitman Fire Fighters will be holding “Fill-The-Boot” drives to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association this weekend, August 29th and 30th. On Saturday, August 29th, Fire Fighters will be collecting at the Dunkin’ Donuts on South Avenue from 8am – Noon. On Sunday, August 30th, Fire Fighters will be collecting at the Stop & Shop on Bedford Street from 10am – 2pm. A boot is also located at John Russell Studio, 587 Washington Street in Whitman.
Donations to MDA can be sent to the Whitman Firefighters ATTN: MDA, PO Box 168, Whitman, MA 02382 or dropped off at the Central Fire Station at 56 Temple Street.
